• راتب شهري

يُودع راتب شهري قدره 4500 ليرة تركية لطلاب البكالوريوس، و6500 ليرة تركية لطلاب الماجستير، و9000 ليرة تركية لطلاب الدكتوراه، بانتظام في الحساب البنكي الذي ستفتحه عند وصولك إلى تركيا. ويُكافأ الطلاب المتفوقون أكاديمياً براتب شهري يزيد عن ضعف الراتب الأساسي ضمن برنامج المنح الدراسية للمتفوقين.

• إقامة

يمكن للطلاب الحاصلين على منح دراسية في المرحلة الجامعية الأولى الإقامة في السكن الجامعي طوال فترة دراستهم، حيث تغطي المنح الدراسية التركية رسوم السكن. وبالتالي، لا داعي للقلق بشأن احتياجات السكن خلال فترة الدراسة.

يُمنح طلاب الماجستير والدكتوراه الحق في الإقامة في السكن الجامعي خلال السنة الأولى من دراستهم. وفي السنوات اللاحقة، يُمكن لطلاب الدراسات العليا استئجار منزل مع بدل سكن قدره 6000 ليرة تركية للطلاب الدارسين في إسطنبول وأنقرة، و5000 ليرة تركية للطلاب الدارسين في مدن أخرى.

يُمنح طلابنا الحق في الإقامة في مساكن الطلاب التابعة لمؤسسة KYK أو في مساكن خاصة تابعة للإدارة العامة للائتمان والمساكن. أما الطلاب الراغبون في سكن خاص، فتتوفر لهم خيارات متعددة، مثل استئجار غرف فردية، أو استئجار عقارات كاملة عن طريق وكلاء عقاريين أو مباشرة من الملاك.

تُقدّم منح تركيا الدراسية للطلاب الدوليين تعليمًا عاليًا مجانيًا وتجربة حياتية جديدة في أرقى جامعات تركيا، مما يتيح لهم اكتساب آفاق جديدة وخوض تجربة تعليمية فريدة طوال فترة دراستهم. ويُتاح للمتقدمين اختيار إحدى الجامعات الاثنتي عشرة عبر تقديم طلباتهم إلكترونيًا من خلال نظام التقديم الإلكتروني لمنح تركيا الدراسية (TBBS).

شبكة خريجي تركيا هي شبكة تضم أكثر من 150 ألف عضو، وهي تنمو باستمرار مع تخرج المزيد من الطلاب، الذين تلقى كل منهم تعليمه في تركيا ويعملون الآن في مهن مرموقة في 160 دولة حول العالم.

صممت مؤسسة المنح الدراسية التركية برامج منح دراسية متنوعة ومخصصة لكل مستوى تعليمي. وتقدم المؤسسة العديد من فرص المنح الدراسية المؤهلة، بدءًا من منح البكالوريوس والماجستير والدكتوراه طويلة الأجل، وصولًا إلى منح البحث والمنح القائمة على الجدارة قصيرة الأجل، ومن منح الفنون إلى برامج المنح المشتركة مع مؤسسات دولية مرموقة.

معايير التقديم

الحد الأدنى من التحصيل الأكاديمي

برامج المنح الدراسية المشتركة

برامج المنح الدراسية المشتركة هي برامج منح دراسية تُقدم لفئات معينة من المحرومين في إطار مواضيع خاصة بالتعاون مع المنظمات الدولية والمؤسسات العامة الأخرى.

برنامج ألبرت أينشتاين للمنح الدراسية للمبادرة الألمانية للاجئين الأكاديميين (DAFI)

يقدم برنامج منح DAFI الدراسية، الذي تديره المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين بدعم مالي من صندوق مبادرة ألبرت أينشتاين الألمانية الأكاديمية للاجئين (DAFI)، فرصًا للحصول على منح دراسية في التعليم العالي للطلاب السوريين في تركيا منذ عام 2016. وتتولى YTB تنفيذ المشروع في تركيا. ويغطي البرنامج راتبًا شهريًا للطلاب، ورسوم الدراسة، والتأمين الصحي.

برنامج سبارك للمنح الدراسية

بفضل برنامج منح SPARK الدراسية، الذي تنفذه SPARK منذ عام 2020 بتمويل من مرفق اللاجئين في تركيا (FRIT)، تُقدم منح دراسية للطلاب السوريين الخاضعين للحماية المؤقتة في مرحلة التعليم العالي في بلدان إقامتهم. وتُعدّ YTB الشريك المنفذ لهذا البرنامج في تركيا. ويشمل البرنامج راتباً شهرياً للطلاب، ورسوماً دراسية، وتأميناً صحياً، وتعليماً للغة التركية.

برنامج المنح الدراسية المشتركة بين بنك التنمية الإسلامي وبنك التنمية الإسلامي

أُطلق برنامج المنح الدراسية المشترك بين رئاسة شؤون الأتراك في الخارج والمجتمعات ذات الصلة (YTB) والبنك الإسلامي للتنمية (IsDB) في عام 2020، وذلك بموجب البروتوكول المُوقّع بين YTB والبنك. يهدف البرنامج بشكل أساسي إلى توفير فرص التعليم العالي في أفضل جامعات تركيا للطلاب المتفوقين أكاديميًا وأكاديميًا من الدول الأعضاء في البنك الإسلامي للتنمية والمجتمعات الإسلامية حول العالم. ويُقدّم البرنامج برامج البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا، ويشمل راتبًا شهريًا، ودعمًا للسكن، ورسومًا دراسية، وتأمينًا صحيًا، ودورة لغة تركية لمدة عام، وتذاكر طيران ذهابًا وإيابًا لمرة واحدة. ويُشترط على طلاب الدبلوم والبكالوريوس سداد القرض بعد التخرج والتوظيف، بأقساط ميسرة، إلى صندوق البنك الإسلامي للتنمية التعليمي (IET)، وهو وقف قائم (أو سيتم إنشاؤه) في بلدان الطلاب.

برنامج المنح الدراسية للرواد اليمنيين

برنامج رواد اليمن للمنح الدراسية، الذي أُطلق عام ٢٠١٩ في إطار البروتوكول المُوقّع مع مؤسسة فيصل كاراني التركية اليمنية السعيدة، هو برنامج منح دراسية أُنشئ لتعزيز العلاقات بين تركيا واليمن، والمساهمة في تنمية اليمن واستقراره. يهدف البرنامج إلى توفير التعليم في جامعات تركيا في المجالات التي تحتاجها، بما يُسهم في تنمية اليمن مستقبلاً، فضلاً عن تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى الطلاب. ويشمل البرنامج راتباً شهرياً للطلاب، ورسوم الدراسة، والتأمين الصحي، وتعليم اللغة التركية، وتذاكر الطيران.

منحة المنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (الويبو)

في إطار برنامج المنح الدراسية الذي يُنفذ بالتعاون مع المنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (الويبو) وشركة TÜRKPATENT وجامعة أنقرة برئاستنا، يدرس خمسة طلاب في برنامج الدراسات العليا في قانون الملكية الفكرية بجامعة أنقرة لمدة فصل دراسي واحد، دون الحاجة إلى تقديم أطروحة. ووفقًا للبروتوكول المُوقع بين TÜRKPATENT ورئاستنا، فإن هؤلاء الطلاب، الذين تمولهم TÜRKPATENT، مُدرجون ضمن برنامج المنح الدراسية التركية. وقد انضمت رئاستنا إلى البرنامج في عام ٢٠١٧.

برنامج دعم التعليم العالي

في إطار البرنامج المنفذ بالتعاون مع المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، تُنظَّم برامج دعم متنوعة للطلاب السوريين الذين يواصلون دراستهم الجامعية. في عام 2022، تم تكليف 25 أكاديمياً من 23 جامعة بتقديم الدعم والإرشاد للطلاب السوريين فيما يتعلق بمشاكلهم الأكاديمية والاجتماعية. إضافةً إلى ذلك، يُخطط لتنظيم برامج تدريبية حول حل النزاعات وتقنيات التواصل للطلاب والأكاديميين والعاملين الجامعيين السوريين والأتراك في 10 جامعات. ولدعم انتقال الطلاب السوريين إلى سوق العمل بعد التخرج، تُجرى دراسات لتنظيم برنامج تدريب عملي في غازي عنتاب، التي اختيرت كمحافظة تجريبية. كما تم إنشاء منصة تعليمية إلكترونية لدعم الطلاب في مختلف المجالات. وفي عام 2022، سيتم تقديم دعم مالي يُصرف مرتين سنوياً لعدد من الطلاب.

المنح الدراسية التركية برنامج بايكار للمنح الدراسية التكنولوجية المشتركة

تم إطلاق برنامج منح دراسية مشترك في مجالات الطيران والتكنولوجيا والفضاء والعلوم الإدارية، بالتعاون بين مؤسسة المنح الدراسية التركية وشركة بايكار للتكنولوجيا. ابتداءً من العام الدراسي 2022-2023، ستُقدم منح دراسية لطلاب من الدول النامية في مجالات الطيران والتكنولوجيا والفضاء، على مستوى البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا. وتغطي شركة بايكار للتكنولوجيا، ضمن نطاق المنحة، مصروف الجيب الشهري، وتكاليف السكن، وتذاكر الطيران ذهابًا وإيابًا طوال فترة دراسة 300 طالب. وتشمل المنح الدراسية تخصصات متنوعة، منها الهندسة الميكانيكية، وهندسة الإلكترونيات، وهندسة الحاسوب، وهندسة المواد، وهندسة الميكاترونكس، والهندسة الصناعية، وإدارة الأعمال، والاقتصاد، والعلاقات الدولية، والهندسة الكهربائية، وهندسة الطيران، والعلوم الاجتماعية، والعلوم الصحية. وبفضل هذا البرنامج، سيتم غرس فهم التوجه الوطني التركي نحو التكنولوجيا في نفوس الشباب من الدول المستهدفة الذين سيأتون إلى تركيا لمتابعة دراساتهم العليا، كما سيتم بناء جسر للتواصل بين الدول في مجال إنتاج التكنولوجيا المتقدمة.

منح دراسية في تركيا – برنامج المنح الدراسية المشترك لمؤسسة ناما

برنامج المنح الدراسية المشتركة بين تركيا ومؤسسة ناما هو برنامج تنافسي يُمنح للطلاب والباحثين المتميزين من إندونيسيا وتنزانيا وكينيا وقيرغيزستان واليمن وماليزيا لمتابعة دراستهم في أرقى جامعات تركيا. بدأ هذا البرنامج المشترك عام ٢٠٢٢، بتمويل مشترك من مجلس السياحة التركي ومؤسسة ناما. ويهدف إلى بناء شبكة من قادة المستقبل الملتزمين بتعزيز التعاون والتفاهم المتبادل بين الدول. يشمل البرنامج السكن، وراتبًا شهريًا، وتأمينًا صحيًا، ورسومًا دراسية، وتذكرة طيران ذهابًا وإيابًا لمرة واحدة، وتكاليف دورة اللغة التركية لمدة عام.

برنامج المنح الدراسية للنجاح (سنة واحدة)

برنامج المنح الدراسية للنجاح هو برنامج مصمم خصيصًا للطلاب الذين يدرسون حاليًا في الجامعات التركية بشكل مستقل والذين أظهروا أداءً أكاديميًا متميزًا. تُستقبل الطلبات في المواعيد المعلنة في أكتوبر ونوفمبر، وتُعلن النتائج في ديسمبر.

يغطي برنامج المنح الدراسية للنجاح راتباً شهرياً فقط. ولا يشمل السكن والمصاريف الأخرى.

يمكن لحاملي شهادة الدكتوراه أو المرشحين لنيلها في مرحلة إعداد الأطروحة التقدم أيضاً إلى هذا البرنامج.

يغطي برنامج المنح الدراسية البحثية الراتب الشهري فقط.

يُقدّم برنامج المنح الدراسية للفنون منحًا دراسية للطلاب الدوليين في مراحل البكالوريوس والماجستير والدكتوراه في مجالات الفنون الأدائية والموسيقى والفنون الجميلة في جامعة أنقرة للموسيقى والفنون الجميلة، وجامعة أنقرة حاجي بيرم ولي، وجامعة إسطنبول التقنية. تُستقبل طلبات الالتحاق ببرنامج المنح الدراسية للفنون عبر نظام التقديم للمنح الدراسية في تركيا (TBBS) خلال الفترة من 10 يناير إلى 20 فبراير من كل عام.

برنامج المنح الدراسية القائمة على الجدارة

صُمم برنامج المنح الدراسية للطلاب الدوليين ذوي التحصيل الأكاديمي المتميز. وفي إطار هذا البرنامج، يُشترط أن يكون الطالب قد أنهى دراسته بمعدل تراكمي مرتفع وحصل على درجات عالية في اختبارات الكفاءة اللغوية الدولية واختبارات التأهيل الأكاديمي التي تحددها رئاسة الجامعة.

سيحصل الطلاب الحاصلون على منحة برنامج الجدارة على راتب شهري يعادل ضعف مبلغ المنحة الدراسية العادية.

خمس خطوات للتقديم

المستندات المطلوبة

بالنسبة للطلبات المقدمة عبر الإنترنت من خلال نظام التقديم للمنح الدراسية التركية (TBBS)، يجب على جميع المرشحين تحميل المستندات التالية إلى النظام:

• وثيقة هوية سارية المفعول، أو بطاقة هوية، أو جواز سفر
• صورة للمرشح تم التقاطها خلال العام الماضي
• نتائج الامتحانات الوطنية (إن وجدت)
• دبلوم أو شهادة تخرج مؤقتة
• نص

تفاصيل مهمة

تُدرَّس العديد من البرامج في الجامعات التركية باللغة التركية. مع ذلك، قد تُقدِّم بعض الأقسام والجامعات برامج باللغة الإنجليزية ولغات أخرى. يجب على المتقدمين الراغبين في الدراسة في هذه البرامج تقديم شهادة إجادة لغة معترف بها دوليًا (مثل اختبار التوفل أو ما يعادله من الشهادات إذا أقرت الجامعة ذلك رسميًا). تتطلب معظم هذه البرامج نتائج اختبارات قبول دولية (مثل GRE، GMAT، SAT، وغيرها). يمكن للمتقدمين التحقق من لغة التدريس عند اختيار البرامج في نظام التقديم.

عملية التقييم والاختيار

يتم النظر في طلبات الحصول على منح تركيا الدراسية وفقًا للنجاح الأكاديمي للمرشح وأنشطته الاجتماعية ودوافعه المتعلقة بالمجال المختار.

التقييم الأولي

تُفحص جميع الطلبات بناءً على معايير أساسية مثل الحد الأدنى من التحصيل الأكاديمي، والحدود العمرية المحددة لكل مستوى تعليمي، والمستندات المطلوبة.

تقييم الخبراء

يتم النظر في طلبات المرشحين المؤهلين من قبل اللجنة الخبيرة وفقًا لمعايير مختلفة مثل الوضع الأكاديمي والمؤهلات السابقة والاهتمامات الأكاديمية والأهداف المهنية وتناسق التفضيلات ومحتوى خطاب النوايا والمشاركة في الأنشطة الاجتماعية.

الاختبارات

يُجرى اختبار كمي مكون من 30 سؤالاً يتضمن أسئلة في الرياضيات والهندسة والمنطق للمرشحين الجامعيين قبل المقابلات الشخصية التي تجريها الوفود الرئاسية.

ستُجرى الاختبارات قبل المقابلة لتقييم المتقدمين لتخصصات العلوم الصحية والعلوم والهندسة، وهي التخصصات التي تشهد إقبالاً أكبر مقارنةً بالتخصصات الأخرى. كما ستُجرى اختبارات للمتقدمين لتخصصات العلوم الاجتماعية، وستُقارن نتائجهم بنتائج المتقدمين الآخرين في نفس التخصص.

سيشمل الاختبار أسئلة تتطلب شرحًا، سيُقدّم باللغتين التركية والإنجليزية، وأسئلة أخرى لا تتطلب ترجمة. ونظرًا لكثرة استخدام المصادر الإنجليزية في المقررات الأساسية لبرامج الصحة والعلوم والهندسة في تركيا، كما هو الحال في العديد من دول العالم، يُتوقع من المتقدمين لهذه المجالات إظهار مستوى كافٍ من اللغة الإنجليزية لفهم أسئلة الاختبار والإجابة عليها.

على الرغم من أن الاختبار يراعي المناهج التعليمية في البلاد، فقد صُممت الأسئلة بما يتماشى مع المنهج التركي أيضًا. ومن المتوقع أن يكون الطلاب الجامعيون الذين سيدرسون في تركيا على دراية بجوهر المنهج التركي.

ستُجرى المقابلات الشخصية في نفس يوم الاختبار، وذلك على فترتين صباحية ومسائية. وسيتم إبلاغ المرشحين بموعد الاختبار والمقابلة عند استلامهم دعواتهم.

سيكون أمام المرشحين 60 دقيقة لإكمال الاختبار المكون من 30 سؤالاً.

ملاحظة 1: بالنسبة للمتقدمين من أذربيجان، يتضمن الاختبار 50 سؤالاً في الرياضيات والهندسة والمنطق. أما بالنسبة للمتقدمين من اليونان وجمهورية شمال قبرص التركية، فيتضمن الاختبار 50 سؤالاً في اللغة التركية والرياضيات والعلوم والعلوم الاجتماعية. ستُعقد الاختبارات في هذه الدول خلال جلسة واحدة لجميع المرشحين الذين تلقوا دعوة للمقابلة. ستُعقد المقابلات الشخصية في الأيام التي تلي الاختبار مباشرةً. سيتلقى المرشحون مواعيد اختبارهم مع دعوة المقابلة.

مقابلة

التقييم النهائي

تقوم لجنة الاختيار بتقييم نتائج المقابلات التي تجريها لجان المقابلات مع المتقدمين، ويتم إنشاء قائمة بالمتقدمين الذين سيحصلون على المنح الدراسية.

Criteria & Scholarship Programs

Türkiye Scholarships has designed different and specific scholarship programs for each level of education. It offers many qualified scholarship opportunities ranging from long-term bachelor’s, master’s as well as PhD scholarships to short-term research and merit-based scholarships, from art scholarships to joint scholarship programs created with international reputable institutions.

Joint Scholarship Programs

Joint scholarship programs are scholarship programs offered to certain disadvantaged groups within the framework of special themes in cooperation with international organizations and other public institutions.

Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative (DAFI) Scholarship Program

The DAFI Scholarship Program, run by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) with the financial support of the Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative Fund (DAFI), has been offering higher education scholarship opportunities to Syrian students in Turkey since 2016. YTB is the implementing partner of the project in Turkey. Within the scope of the scholarship program, students’ monthly stipend, tuition fees and health insurance are covered.

SPARK Scholarship Program

With the SPARK Scholarship Program carried out by SPARK as of 2020, financed under the Facility for Refugees in Turkey (FRIT), Syrian students under temporary protection are offered scholarships at the higher education level in their countries of residence. YTB is the implementing partner of the said scholarship program in Turkey. Within the scope of the scholarship program, students’ monthly stipend, tuition fees, health insurance and Turkish language education are covered.

YTB-IsDB Joint Scholarship Program

Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) – Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Joint Scholarship Program was launched in 2020 as a result of the protocol signed between YTB and IsDB. The main aim of the program is to provide higher education opportunities at top universities of Türkiye to students with excellent academic and co-curriculum performance from IsDB member states and Muslim communities around the world. Within the scope of the program, both undergraduate and postgraduate programs are offered. Program covers students’ monthly stipend, accommodation support, tuition fees, health insurance, one-year Turkish language course and one-time round-trip flight tickets expenses. Associate degree and bachelor degree students are required to repay the loan after graduation and employment, in easy installments, to the IsDB Education Trust (IET), a Waqf set up (or to be set up) in the students’ countries.

Yemeni Pioneers Scholarship Program

The Yemeni Pioneers Scholarship Program, launched in 2019 within the scope of the protocol signed with the Veysel Karani Turkish-Yemeni Said Foundation, is a scholarship program created to improve relations between Turkey and Yemen and to contribute to the development and stability of Yemen. The scholarship program aims to provide education in our country’s universities in areas of need that will help the development of their country in the future, as well as to develop leadership skills among students. Within the scope of the scholarship program, students’ monthly stipend, tuition fees, health insurance, Turkish language education and flight tickets are covered.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Scholarship

Within the scope of the scholarship program conducted in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), TÜRKPATENT and Ankara University with our presidency, 5 students are studying at Ankara University Intellectual Property Law Post Graduate Program without Thesis for 1 semester. In accordance with the protocol signed between TÜRKPATENT and our Presidency, these students, financed by TÜRKPATENT, are included in the scope of Türkiye Scholarships. Our Presidency was included in the program in 2017. In accordance with the protocol signed between TÜRKPATENT and our Presidency, these students who will be funded by TÜRKPATENT are included in the scope of Türkiye Scholarships.

Higher Education Support Program

Within the scope of the program carried out jointly with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), various support programs are organized for Syrian students who continue their university education. In 2022, 25 academics from 23 universities were assigned to provide support and counseling to Syrian students regarding their academic and social problems. Apart from this, it is planned to organize training programs on conflict resolution and communication techniques for Syrian and Turkish students, academics and related university personnel in 10 universities. In order to support the transition of Syrian students to the job market after graduation, studies are carried out to organize an internship program in Gaziantep, which has been selected as a pilot province. An online education platform has been created to support students in various fields. In 2022, pocket money support which will be paid twice a year will be provided to a certain number of students.

Türkiye Scholarships Baykar Technology Joint Scholarship Program

A joint scholarship program has been established in the fields of aviation, technology, space and administrative sciences in partnership with Türkiye Scholarships and BAYKAR Technology. As of the 2022-2023 academic year, scholarships will be provided to students from developing countries in the fields of aviation, technology and space at undergraduate and graduate levels. Within the scope of the scholarship, monthly pocket money, accommodation expenses, round trip flight tickets will be covered by Baykar Teknoloji during the education period of 300 students. Scholarships will be given for different departments, including Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Social Sciences and Health Sciences. Thanks to the scholarship program, the understanding of Turkey’s National Technology Move will be instilled in young people from target countries who will come to Turkey to receive higher education, and a bridge will be created between countries in high technology production.

Türkiye Scholarships – NAMA Foundation Joint Scholarship Program

Türkiye Scholarships – NAMA Foundation Joint Scholarship Program is a competitive scholarship program, awarded to outstanding students and researchers from Indonesia, Tanzania, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Yemen and Malaysia to pursue their studies at the most prestigious universities in Türkiye. The joint scholarship program, which started in 2022, is jointly funded by YTB and NAMA Foundation. Program aims to build a network of future leaders committed to strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding among countries. Within the scope of the joint scholarship program accommodation, monthly stipend, health insurance, tuition fee, one-time round-trip flight ticket and one-year Turkish language course expenses are covered.

Short-Term Scholarships

Success Scholarship Program (1 year)

• The Success Scholarship Program is a program specially designed for students who are currently studying at Turkish universities on their own and who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. Applications are received on the dates announced in October and November, results are announced in December.

The Success Scholarship Program only covers monthly stipend. Accommodation and other expenses are not covered.

Various programs are offered at the master’s and PhD levels in the fields of social sciences, humanities, natural sciences and engineering at prestigious universities in Türkiye. Graduate Scholarship Programme applications are received via the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS) between 10 January and 20 February, which is the application period every year.

Türkiye Scholarships does not award scholarships in the field of health sciences.

Merit Scholarship Program

Merit Scholarship Program is designed for international students with outstanding academic achievement. Within the scope of the Merit Scholarship Program, students who have completed their studies with a high grade point average and have obtained high scores in international language proficiency and academic qualification examinations determined by the Presidency are eligible for evaluation.

Students who granted Merit Scholarship Program will receive a monthly stipend that is twice the regular scholarship amount.

For applications made online through the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS), all candidates must upload the following documents to the system:

• A valid identity document, ID card or passport
• A photograph of the candidate taken within the last 1 year
• National exam results (if any)
• Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
• Transcript
• International exam results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.) if required by the chosen university or program
• International language test results such as TOEFL, DELF if required by the chosen university or program
• A proposal for a research topic and a written example of the research you have carried out (only for PhD applications)

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Many programs in Turkish universities are taught in Turkish language. However, some departments and universities may offer programs in English and other languages. Candidates who wish to study in such programs must be able to provide an internationally accepted language proficiency certificate. (TOEFL or other equivalent certifications if university officially stated acceptable). Most of these programs require international admission test results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.). Candidates can check the language of instruction while choosing programs in the application system.

Undergraduate candidates who possess International qualifications such as SAT or GCSE instead of national exam scores, will need to provide the minimum required qualifications needed for completing secondary school according to these international exams.

All Türkiye Scholarships awardees who do not possess C1 Level Certificate for Turkish Proficiency (including those who are placed into English or other language medium programs) must attend 1-year Turkish Language Course and attain the C1 Level Certificate by the end of their academic year.

Evaluation and Selection Process

Applications for Türkiye Scholarships are considered according to the candidate’s academic success, social activities and motivation related to the chosen field.

PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT

All applications are examined on the basis of basic criteria such as minimum academic achievement, age limits set for each level of education, and required documents

 EXPERT EVALUATION

Applications from eligible candidates; are considered by the Expert Committee in terms of various criteria such as academic status, previous qualifications, academic interests, career goals, consistency of preferences, content of the letter of intent, and participation in social activities.

After this stage, the final list of eligible candidates for the interview process is set.

TESTS

A 30-question quantitative test consisting of mathematics, geometry, and logic questions is held for undergraduate candidates prior to the face-to-face interviews conducted by the Presidential Delegations.

The tests are going to be held prior to the interview in order to evaluate the candidates applying to the fields of health sciences, science and engineering the fields which take the greater number of applications compared to other disciplines. Tests are also going to be held for candidates applying in the field of social sciences, and the results will be evaluated in comparison among other applicants within the field.

The test will include questions that require explanations, which will be provided both in Turkish and English, and questions that do not require translation. Since English sources are frequently used in basic courses at health, science, and engineering programs in Turkey like many other countries around the world, candidates applying in these fields are expected to demonstrate a sufficient level of English to be able to comprehend and respond to the test’s questions.

Despite the fact that the test take the country’s educational curricula into account, questions have been developed in line with Turkish curriculum as well. Undergraduate candidates who are going to be studying in Turkey are expected to be familiar with the core of Turkish curriculum.

Face-to-face interviews will take place on the same day as the test, and will be conducted in morning and afternoon sessions. Candidates will be informed of their test and interview timeslot when they receive their invitations to the interview.

Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the 30-question test.

Note 1: For those applying from Azerbaijan, 50 questions consist of mathematics, geometry, and logic. For those applying from Greece and the TRNC, 50 questions consist of Turkish, mathematics, science, and social sciences. The tests in these countries will be held during a single session for all candidates who receive an invitation for an interview. Face-to-face interviews will be held during the days immediately following the exam. The candidates will receive their timeslots for the exam together with their interview invitation.

Note 2: In addition, in countries like Afghanistan and Sudan, where applications are plentiful, the Presidency may organize 80 to 100-question exams depending on the number of applicants.

INTERVIEW

Candidates selected from more than 100 countries in the final list are evaluated by interview committees consisting of academics and experts.

The interview, which usually lasts 15-30 minutes, is carried out in the following format:

• Welcome and entrance
• Check of documents
• Purpose of the candidate’s application
• Academic knowledge and career goals
• Closing and candidate questions to the committee

Candidates invited for the interview are required to bring all the documents and certificates of the latest education they have completed to the interview.

 FINAL ASSESSMENT

The results of the interviews of applicants conducted by the interview committees are evaluated by a selection committee and a list of applicants who will receive scholarships is created.

At this final evaluation stage, the general eligibility of the candidate for Türkiye Scholarships is evaluated.
