تم تأسيس المعهد المصرفي المصري بواسطة البنك المركزي المصري في عام ١٩٩١ ليصبح الذراع التدريبي الرسمي له برؤية تستهدف أن يصبح المعهد الشريك المفضل لتطوير رأس المال البشري في المنظومة المصرفية في مصر، ومنارة لتطوير القطاع المصرفي بالدول الاستراتيجية عربياً وافريقياً، وتقديم أفضل الخدمات من خلال نقل أحدث الاتجاهات المصرفية العالمية.

تأسس المعهد المصري للتدريب (EBI) عام ١٩٩١ من قبل البنك المركزي المصري ليكون ذراعه التدريبي الرسمي، برؤية طموحة ليصبح الشريك المفضل لتطوير رأس المال البشري في القطاع المصرفي المصري، ومنارةً لتطوير القطاع المصرفي في الدول الأفريقية والعربية الاستراتيجية، وذلك من خلال مواكبة أحدث التوجهات المصرفية العالمية. ويضع مجلس الإدارة، برئاسة معالي محافظ البنك المركزي المصري، السيد حسن عبد الله، المعهد المصري للتدريب في موقع ريادي. في عام ٢٠٠٩، كان المعهد المصري للتدريب أول معهد تدريب مالي معتمد في مصر ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا من قبل مجلس اعتماد التعليم والتدريب المستمر (ACCET) لمدة خمس سنوات. وحصل المعهد على تجديد الاعتماد لفترتين إضافيتين حتى عام ٢٠٢٤. كما حصلت منهجية التعليم التفاعلي عن بُعد وبرامج التعليم الإلكتروني التابعة للمعهد على اعتماد مجلس اعتماد التعليم والتدريب المستمر (ACCET) في عام ٢٠٢١. وفي إطار دوره البارز في إصلاح التعليم العالمي وتحسينه، حصد المعهد المصري للتدريب العديد من الجوائز تقديرًا لتميزه المؤسسي ومساهمته في تنمية رأس المال البشري. في عام 2021، حاز معهد EBI على جائزة “أفضل معهد تدريب مالي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا” من قِبل كابيتال فاينانس إنترناشونال. وفي عام 2022، نال المعهد جائزة “أفضل الشركات” في مؤتمر التعليم 2.0، وجائزة “أفضل شركة خدمات تدريب مالي” من قِبل إنترناشونال فاينانس.

يقدم معهد EBI حلولاً تدريبية متطورة تتماشى مع أحدث الممارسات الدولية في مجالات الخدمات المصرفية والإدارة والقيادة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة. وبرعاية البنك المركزي الأفريقي، قدم المعهد خدماته التدريبية في 44 دولة، استفاد منها أكثر من 4000 متدرب أفريقي، ويفخر بشراكته مع أبرز المؤسسات المصرفية الأفريقية.

كما يوفر معهد EBI باقة متنوعة من خدمات التقييم، مستخدماً أدوات تقييم متعددة لأغراض التوظيف والترقية والتطوير.

ويُجري المعهد أيضاً مجموعة واسعة من الأنشطة والخدمات المتنوعة لنشر المعرفة حول أحدث اتجاهات القطاع.

The Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) was established in 1991 by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to act as its official training arm with a vision to be the preferred partner for developing the human capital of the banking ecosystem in Egypt and the lighthouse for banking sector development across strategic African and Arab countries, through mirroring the latest international banking trends.

The blend of the Board of Directors headed by the Governor of CBE, H.E. Mr. Hassan Abdallah, sets EBI in a leading position. In 2009 EBI was the first accredited financial training institute in Egypt and the MENA region by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) for five years. EBI obtained reaccreditation for 2 more terms ending in 2024. EBI’s Interactive Distance Learning instructional methodology & e-learning programs have been also accredited by ACCET in 2021.
As part of its prominent role in reforming and improving global education, EBI received several awards as an acknowledgment of its corporate excellence & contribution to human capital development. In 2021, EBI was awarded the “Best Financial Training Institute in MENA Region” by Capital Finance International. In 2022, EBI was awarded the “Best Companies Award” at the Education 2.0 Conference & the “Best Financial Training Service Company” in 2022 by International Finance.

Under the auspices of CBE, EBI provided its training services in 44 countries with more than 4000 African trainees and takes pride in its partnership with leading African banking institutes.
